The multinational retail corporation was looking to connect with their top suppliers in a new and engaging format. The goal was to create an opportunity for suppliers to connect, share information and best practices and hear from Walmart on strategic initiatives.
New event launched for a key large-scale audience
RIVE launched the Supplier Growth Forum (SGF) in its first year as a standalone event. The audience included more than 5,000 suppliers who represented the bulk of items sold in stores. We led executive content development, presentation design, set and scenic design and created original motion graphics and video for the multi-day event.
Launching a new event comes with a bevy of challenges. From event theme development through pre-production presentation support and two full weeks on-site in Bentonville, RIVE deployed an agile and holistic approach to event production. Working closely with the office of the Chief Merchandising Officer, RIVE’s team was able to bring to fruition a visionary approach to a new meeting.
